Van: When you want to carry maximum cargo or passengers, a van or minivan is the way to go. With a low cargo floor and no bulky 4WD system, the best minivans offer more cargo capacity than giant three-row SUVs like a Chevrolet Tahoe, plus additional passenger space, too. Plus, full-size vans are the only vehicles capable of seating more than eight passengers (up to 15), and there’s a reason people are building them out as camping rigs. Electric vans deliver all the carrying capacity without the high fuel costs. Minivans today include the Toyota Sienna, Honda Odyssey, and Chrysler Pacifica, as well as the Kia Carnival and fully electric Volkswagen ID Buzz.
