With the Senna, McLaren set out to build the most exciting street-legal car you could drive on a racetrack. With those lofty goals in mind, we took the Senna to our own test track to see how the near-$1 million supercar did.

At MotorTrend’s 2024 Performance Vehicle of the Year, we were blessed to have McLaren’s almighty 750s Coupe, and even more blessed to have a race track at our disposal. Technically, the 750S sits between the 720S and the 765LT, though McLaren say it’s pretty much the equal of the long tail in terms of performance. The 750s is an animal, and despite being super light, crazy powerful, and rear-wheel drive, it remains just as confidence inspiring and drivable as the 720s, but with added punch! "
