Car Craft's John McGann and Holmes Fabrication finish the Suspension, Wiring, EFI, Brakes and Plumbing on the 404 CI LS2 Stroker Swapped 1985 Chevy Camaro build, before finally ironing out the 1989 Mustang powered by a "Godzilla" 7.3l Ford crate engine. The Mustang makes its debut at Hot Rod Power Tour West's Autocross before a First Showdown against the Camaro on the Drag Strip at Pomona. HOT ROD Drag Week 2025 once again put the toughest street cars in the country to the test. Over five days and more than 600 miles, racers had to prove they could drive their cars on the street and still lay down serious numbers at the track. From six-second Unlimited cars to 10-second cruisers, the competition was stacked. In the end, Ned Dunphy’s 3,000-hp Dodge Viper was the best of the field, averaging 6.17 at 247 mph to set a new record and lock down the title of America’s Fastest Street Car.
