Meet Northern Bel, the 1966 Plymouth Belvedere that was conceived by owner David Meyer and brought to life by coachbuilder Troy Trepanier. About as tastefully done as one can get, this old Plymouth packs a 526 cubic inch HEMI, twin rear-mounted turbochargers and enough power to launch it to the moon if you placed it vertically.

HOT ROD Drag Week 2025 once again put the toughest street cars in the country to the test. Over five days and more than 600 miles, racers had to prove they could drive their cars on the street and still lay down serious numbers at the track. From six-second Unlimited cars to 10-second cruisers, the competition was stacked. In the end, Ned Dunphy’s 3,000-hp Dodge Viper was the best of the field, averaging 6.17 at 247 mph to set a new record and lock down the title of America’s Fastest Street Car.
