From six-second Unlimited cars to 10-second cruisers, the competition was stacked. In the end, Ned Dunphy’s 3,000-hp Dodge Viper was the best of the field, averaging 6.17 at 247 mph to set a new record and lock down the title of America’s Fastest Street Car.
