Over five days and more than 600 miles, racers had to prove they could drive their cars on the street and still lay down serious numbers at the track. In the end, Ned Dunphy’s 3,000-hp Dodge Viper was the best of the field, averaging 6.17 at 247 mph to set a new record and lock down the title of America’s Fastest Street Car.
