
Toyota has regained its swagger with the new Toyota Sienna van, at least when it comes to popular automotive video ads.
The automaker's launch campaign for the redesigned Sienna includes a series of videos called "The Sienna Family," including one humorous music video in which a husband and wife rap about the Toyota. Doesn't sound interesting? Tell that to the people who helped the video accumulate more than five million views this month. That's far more than the second and third place entries on our monthly Top 10 Ads chart, both of which were for the Ford Fiesta.
You may have seen the more popular Fiesta ad, new this month, which compares the subcompact hatchback to a Lamborghini Gallardo. Also new this month is a creative ad for Nissan's European compact SUV, the Qashqai. The crossover dodges paintballs as it nimbly makes its way through town.

1. Toyota: The Sienna Family rocketed to first place for its third appearance with an astounding and record setting 1,761% growth. Following the series of short, 30-second spots, Toyota and creative team Saatchi & Saatchi launched the "Swagger Wagon" music video which accounted for nearly half of the campaign's views in May. The music video is a format that is proven to work well online as is demonstrated in the Visible Measures 100 Million Views Club of which 57% are music videos (www.visiblemeasures.com/hundred). The campaign was given an additional boost as Toyota ran a paid promotion on YouTube helping to further spread awareness and drive up the view count.
