Fill your 2018 Calendar With These Summit Racing Events

As we near the end of 2017 we’ve been hitting the stores looking for that perfect automotive themed wall calendar. Though no matter if your calendar features go-fast rides, or kittens, you’ll want to take notice of the 2018 event schedule that Summit Racing has shared with us. These Summit Racing-sponsored events are scheduled throughout 2018 and are already locked in. As new events are sponsored Summit Racing will add them to its online event calendar that you can find at www.summitracing.com. We’ll see you there!

April 28-29: Summit Racing Atlanta Motorama, Atlanta Motor Speedway

As one of the South’s premier motoring festivals, the Summit Racing Equipment Atlanta Motorama showcases a wide range of vehicles including high performance cars, street rods, classics, trucks, exotics, and motorcycles. You’ll also see military vehicles, RVs, boats, and BIGFOOT monster trucks.

June 8-9: Super Summit, Norwalk, OH

This annual event at Summit Racing Equipment Motorsports Park features a free car show open to all vehicles, “fun runs” down the quarter-mile track, an autocross course, a manufacturers midway with hundreds of manufacturer displays, and more. Admission is free for participants and spectators.

June 21-24: Summit Racing Equipment NHRA Nationals, Norwalk, OH

Celebrate the beginning of summer at Summit Racing Equipment Motorsports Park with Top Fuelers, Funny Cars, Pro Stockers, and the rest of the NHRA caravan. This event ends a grueling four straight weekends of racing, so the competition will be fierce, especially in the Pro Stock ranks as Summit Racing drivers Greg Anderson and Jason Line duke it out with the rest of the field to win one for the team!

August 7-12: Hot August Nights, Reno, NV

With thousands of hot rods and muscle cars lining the streets of downtown Reno and nearby Sparks, this weeklong show should be on every gearhead’s bucket list. There are nightly cruises, shows featuring classic rock ‘n roll stars, a big swap meet, and much more.

September 28-30: Goodguys Summit Racing Equipment Lone Star Nationals, Fort Worth, TX

Over 2,500 hot rods, muscle cars, and classic trucks will fill up Texas Motor Speedway with chrome and horsepower. Participants can cruise the race track or compete in the autocross event, and everyone can enjoy things like the swap meet and car corral, manufacturer display, and much more. Make sure to drop by the Summit Racing Retail Super Store, just a short trip away in nearby Arlington.

Summit Racing Equipment Car Show Series

Don’t let winter get you down—head out to one of the 26 indoor carfests on the 2018 Summit Racing Show Car Series schedule. They’re the place to see hot rods and customs, muscle cars, motorcycles, trucks, antique cars, and other special-interest vehicles. The Summit Racing Show Car Series also features International Show Car Association (ISCA)-sanctioned competition, swap area, car club displays, and much more.
