Considering the 2024 Honda Accord? We understand that choosing the right trim level from the six available options can be overwhelming, so we put together this guide to help you make the right choice. What's Standard On the 2024 Honda Accord
The popular midsize sedan just received a major redesign for 2023, so changes are minimal for the new model year. The base Honda Accord remains the LX trim, and it comes equipped with a capable engine: a 1.5-liter turbocharged inline-four engine paired with a CVT automatic. Total output is 192 hp and 192 lb-ft of torque. FWD is standard, and it’s the only available configuration for all 2024 Honda Accord models. Up front, the Accord uses MacPherson strut suspension, and the rear features a multilink setup. In our First Drive review, we considered the base drivetrain “appropriately powerful for the car,” though we found fault in the somewhat vague brake pedal. When we sampled the gasoline version of the Honda Accord for our instrumented First Test, we commended its “pleasant, predictable driving experience” but lamented its failure to improve on its excellent predecessor.
The 2024 Honda Accord LX rides on 17-inch wheels and is equipped with full LED headlights. The cabin receives standard cloth seats, a four-speaker audio system, and automatic climate control. The rear seats fold down for more cargo space.
In terms of tech, Honda Accord LX models come equipped with a 10.2-inch fully digital instrument cluster and a 7.0-inch touchscreen with Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, and Bluetooth audio. Unfortunately, this touchscreen feels outdated, and sound quality is merely mediocre. Other tech includes a pair of USB-C ports, keyless entry, automatic locking doors, and push-button and remote engine start.
Active safety systems include the Honda Sensing suite of equipment. Every Honda Accord sedan comes equipped with automatic emergency braking, road departure mitigation, a multiangle rearview camera, adaptive cruise control with low-speed following capabilities, lane keep assist with traffic jam assist, and traffic sign recognition.
All in, the 2024 Honda Accord LX starts at just under $29,000. As far as base models go, the entry-level Accord offers good feature-per-dollar value despite the lackluster infotainment.

2024 Honda Accord EX Features
The next trim in the Honda Accord lineup is the EX, which builds on the features of the entry-level LX. Additional equipment includes blind-spot and cross-traffic monitoring, heated side mirrors, a power moonroof with one-touch opening, heated front seats, an eight-speaker audio system, a power driver’s seat, dual-zone automatic climate control, and a 60/40 split-folding rear bench.
Honda asks just over $31,000 for the Accord EX. The EX’s added features over the base model and a price advantage over the hybrids make it a strong choice for Accord buyers.

2024 Honda Accord Sport Hybrid Features
Buyers used to be able to get a previous-generation Honda Accord Sport with a powerful 2.0-liter turbocharged engine and even a six-speed manual transmission. Now, the Accord Sport Hybrid fills that place within the midsize sedan’s lineup. The Accord Sport Hybrid combines a 2.0-liter inline-four engine and two electric motors for a total output of 204 hp and 247 lb-ft of torque. Rather than using a CVT, the Accord Hybrid employs a direct drive setup with a high-speed lockup clutch that directly connects the engine to the front axle for steady-state cruising on the highway. Although the hybrid models have more power on paper, we’ve noted that responsiveness trails that of the gasoline-only powertrain. The brake pedal feels soft and offers little feedback, and the steering is better suited for daily driving rather than spirited stints on curvy roads.
Honda offers four drive modes on its hybrid models: Normal, Sport, Econ, and Individual. Honda’s Motion Management System is a new torque-vectoring system that uses the brakes to control the hybrid vehicle’s weight during cornering and in adverse conditions.
Honda equips the Accord Sport Hybrid with 19-inch wheels and a gloss-black decklid spoiler. Inside the cabin, you’ll find a 12.3-inch infotainment display with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, as well as added Amazon Alexa functionality. Cloth seats are standard.
The Honda Accord Sport Hybrid starts just under $34,000. Honda positions it as a volume player, and we can see that being the case. It has the best mix of fuel-sipping drivetrain technology and comfort features for the money out of any model in the range.

2024 Honda Accord EX-L Hybrid Features
With L standing for luxury, the Honda Accord EX-L Hybrid uses the electrified drivetrain while adding features to the EX model. Mechanically, the Accord EX-L Hybrid and Sport Hybrid are identical.
Like the EX, the EX-L Hybrid rides on 17-inch wheels. On the inside, there’s a leather-wrapped steering wheel, leather-trimmed seats, power front seats with memory functionality for the driver’s seat, a 12.3-inch touchscreen with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and Alexa built-in. It also gains parking sensors.
Honda asks just over $35,500 for the Accord EX-L Hybrid. Buyers who want something less flashy than the Accord Sport Hybrid can pick the EX-L Hybrid for just a little more money.
2024 Honda Accord Sport-L Hybrid Features
Like the Sport Hybrid, the Sport-L Hybrid receives gloss black accents for the 19-inch wheels and decklid spoiler. However, it also gets an exclusive rear diffuser. It has the same technology as the regular Sport Hybrid but adds a little luxury, including leather-trimmed seats. Other features include power front seats with memory functionality for the driver’s seat and a leather-wrapped steering wheel.
Honda prices the Accord Sport-L Hybrid just under $36,000, which makes us scratch our heads. It doesn’t offer much more content than the regular Sport Hybrid, and we struggle to see value in this trim level.

2024 Honda Accord Touring Hybrid Features
The Touring Hybrid trim sits at the top of the 2024 Honda Accord model range. Nineteen-inch wheels and a black decklid spoiler distinguish it from the EX-L Hybrid.
Honda equips more tech on the Accord Touring Hybrid, which is the only model that receives Google built-in applications, a head-up display, and a wireless phone charger. Bose premium audio is standard, and it sounds much better than the sound system on base and midrange Accords. Like the EX-L, it comes equipped with parking sensors. All told, the Accord Touring Hybrid starts just under $40,000.
Unfortunately, some of the best features on the Accord are locked away at this top trim level. Honda’s no-options trim structure forces buyers to spend much more if they want premium features, rather than allowing them to purchase features à la carte. The Accord Touring Hybrid is well-equipped, but it doesn’t represent a strong feature-per-dollar value.
So Which Honda Accord Model Is Best?
The Honda Accord is by no means the least expensive midsize sedan currently available, but it is very well-equipped across the entire lineup. Its stylish, upscale cabin and strong suite of active safety technology make it a desirable choice as a daily driver. Among the pair of gasoline-only models, we’d opt for the better-outfitted Accord EX.
Out of the entire trim range, we’re tempted by the Accord Sport Hybrid. If you can get past some flaws with the way it drives, it represents the best feature-per-dollar value. It incorporates the larger infotainment display, more sophisticated mechanical underpinnings, and vastly improved fuel economy. The 2024 Honda Accord lineup doesn’t have the differentiation between trims as it did in the previous generation, but its strong standard features list should help this repeat favorite maintain its popularity.
