Takin’ the Street 2018 Mustang GT
Billy Driscoll • Wesley Chapel, FL • 2018 Mustang GT
While his race car is down, the World Famous "Ticket Taker" Billy Driscoll uses this 2018 Mustang GT to get his speed fix. The 10R80-equipped ride has a Roush R2650 supercharger featuring the factory calibration, and it was installed at a Ford dealer so the warranty is intact. To really liven things up, though, the car has a MagnaFlow axle-back exhaust, a Cervini's hood, Spec 1 wheels, Nitto treads, an MMD rear wing, and BMR springs. Billy doesn't find too many opportunities to drive the car, so it has just 3,900 miles on it as of this writing. His neck of the woods needs more cars and coffee events; maybe he needs to sell tickets to them.

Instead of reading Dr. Seuss books as a child, I grew up with my nose in car magazines. My dad and uncles always had cool cars around, which further drove me to a career in the automotive field. T hough my dad and uncles very rarely had any Mustangs in the yard, I gravitated toward Fox Mustangs, since it is the must-have car of my generation.
I begged for an internship at then-Dobbs Publishing, and started May 19th, 1997 as an intern on Mopar Muscle. In September of that year I became an Associate Editor, holding that title on several magazines until I landed my ideal job at 5.0 Mustang and Super Fords in 1999.
My first Mustang was a '64 1/2 coupe with a Maverick 302 and a C4 in it. I had no idea that was the case when I bought the car, I just wanted a Mustang. I started to restore that car, but after my first ride in Fox Mustang that old car was sold right away. I've been through several Mustangs since, with my current ride being a 2001 Bullitt, and a Fox Mustang under construction.
