It's rare that you'll see a featured truck with such minimal suspension modifications as Todd Farrand's 2005 Ram 2500. With true-to-size 41.5-inch-tall Pit Bull Rocker radials on TrailReady beadlocks riding under factory sheetmetal, this truck is outfitted with only 2 inches of lift … thanks to a large amount of sheetmetal cutting by Mercenary Offroad to make the tires fit. While the low-slung Dodge has a short list of modifications, it was easily one of the most gawked-at trucks on our recent Fullsize Invasion trail ride in Moab, Utah. The giant tires combined with a cutting-edge front bumper made every Cummins truck fan look twice, and no doubt inspired a few guys to go home, grind off some sheetmetal, and drop their trucks a few inches.
While Todd is still finding a few more points to trim, he went home after a week in Moab with three out of four fenders still looking pretty clean and void of tire-induced crunches.
