Meet the Participants of the 2022 Four Wheeler Overland Adventure Presented by Jeep

The 2022 Four Wheeler Overland Adventure Presented by Jeep kicked off at the town of Goffs. Participants came together from across the United States, meeting in the Mojave Desert ahead of the event where they would explore remote parts of the desert and learn about General George Patton's Desert Training Center.

Participants and sponsors joined one another at Goffs under the desert sun whereFour Wheelerstaff were on hand conducting vehicle inspections and gathering feature photography. As a distraction from the formalities, all were treated to working demonstrations of some of the mining machinery found throughout Goffs. Wrapping up the evening, the group sat down for a BBQ dinner and the firing of a live historic cannon before bedding down beneath the stars for on-site dry camping.
The 2022 Four Wheeler Overland Adventure Presented by Jeep took place in Southern California. The four-day event included highway and backcountry driving by day, with camping at night. In addition to great off-roading the event incorporated many historical highlights, including exploration of the area used as General George S. Patton Jr's WWII Desert Training Center. The expedition featured 10 unique 4x4s that were specifically modified for extended off-road travel and camping, with sleeping quarters either in or on the vehicle, or in or on a trailer. All participants were chosen by theFour Wheelerstaff from dozens of applicants. Overland Adventure began in 2019 and has previously explored Arizona and Utah.
