Beyond Broncos, Ford Brings Stampede of Custom Mustangs and Mach-Es to SEMA
It’s not just the Bronco and Bronco Sport that will get the customized love at Ford.
It isn't any surprise at all that we're seeing hordes of Broncos and Bronco Sport SUVs customized at this year's SEMA show—they're the new kids on the block, and those always see outsize attention at SEMA. But Ford isn't letting us forget its other enthusiast offerings. A total of five customized Mustangs and Mach-Es will also be on display at SEMA, tricked out with the latest goods from Ford, its partners, and other aftermarket part suppliers. Here they are:
Austin Hatcher Foundation for Pediatric Cancer Mustang Mach-E GT AWD

For a SEMA Show vehicle, the Austin Hatcher Mustang Mach-E GT isn't terribly wild. However, what it lacks in outlandishness it makes up for in pure style. This Mach-E GT starts with a brilliant Space White paint job contrasted by dark elements such as the custom Archetype Racing carbon fiber front splitter and rear wing. The roof is wrapped in black vinyl from Wastegate Technologies.
The wheels this beautiful looking Mach-E wears are from Rotiform and are the Alloy R-159 OZR. A Motion Control adjustable suspension ensures the body sits low over those rims, while upgraded Brembo brakes ensure it can stop a little better—or at least look like it can. Inside, Ford Performance Parts GTP seats are used along with an infrared rearview dashcam and a DC Safety charge cord bag, which is a Ford Licensed Accessory part.
This 480-hp 2021 Mach-E GT is also going to be run during the 2022 Bonneville Speed Week with a target of 200 mph. Then, it could become yours, as it will be auctioned off in 2023 and its purchase will go towards helping support the nationwide operations of the Austin Hatcher Foundation, which is based in Chattanooga, Tennessee.
Shelby Mustang Mach-E GT Concept

When you think "Mustang," you inevitably think there's a Shelby version, right? Well, the Mustang Mach-E EV so far lacks a proper Shelby variant, so consider this is a preview of what a potential Shelby Mustang Mach-E GT might be. Hey, after all, one Carroll Shelby once said he wanted an EV performance car under his name.
Appealingly, this concept is no mere sticker and badge package. It has the parts to make it perform as any Shelby is supposed to. For weight reduction, there are graphene-infused carbon fiber body pieces that also improve the aerodynamics and looks of this Mach-E, including the front fascia, front fenders, rear fender flares, and a custom hood with an extractor to reduce front-end lift.
