2015 Ford Super Duty Expert Review

The 2015 Ford F-Series Super Duty gets a mid-cycle refresh for the new model year. In addition to the above improvements, Ford has made the six-speed automatic stronger in order to handle the Powerstroke's added power. The F-450 is one of the heaviest-duty truck any of the automaker offers, just a step below medium-duty commercial trucks.
Vehicle Overview
The 2015 Ford F-Series Super Duty gets some upgrades for the new year as GM releases its new Heavy Duty trucks. The change Super Duty buyers will most appreciate comes under the hood. The optional Powerstroke 6.7-liter turbodiesel V-8 gets heavily revised to make more power, get better fuel economy, and improve reliability, ultimately make the Super Duty more capable than before. Ford also has made some changes to the Super Duty King Ranch model in an effort to make it more luxurious, with higher-quality leather, new colors, and a unique exterior treatment.
The Ford F-Series Super Duty lineup comes standard with a 6.2-liter gas V-8 that makes between 316 and 385 hp and 397 and 405 lb-ft of torque. The Powerstroke 6.7-liter turbodiesel V-8 is an option. Ford has yet to release the power output of the updated Powerstroke, but the older version makes 400 hp and 800 lb-ft of torque. A six-speed automatic is the only available transmission. Rear-wheel drive is standard, while four-wheel drive is optional. The F-Series Super Duty lineup comes standard with a single pair of rear wheels, with a dualie option available.
The top-line Ford F-450 also gets extensive updates, with a strengthened frame, an updated suspension capable of carrying more weight, and new wheels.
